Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with clients to develop, test, and deliver products that meet their needs.
* Work across a wide range of systems, competencies, technologies, and industries.
* Program in modern C++ and C; also use Rust, Embedded Linux, and Zephyr OS where appropriate.
* Participate in requirements engineering, architecture design, testing, documentation, and DevOps.
* Apply good engineering practices in daily work, ensuring clean structure, good performance, and sensible test coverage.
* Communicate directly with customers and propose technical innovations, methods, and principles.
* Support other colleagues within and across projects.
Qualifications
* Strong university degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field – or an equivalent professional qualification.
* Passion for high‑quality software, with emphasis on requirements, design patterns, efficient data structures, unit tests, and documentation.
* Hands‑on experience with operating systems such as Linux or an RTOS; experience with Rust is a plus.
* Experience programming GPUs or NPUs is an additional plus.
* Communicative, open‑minded, confident in decision‑making, driven by curiosity and a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
* Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
