Overview
Manager Program Management (m/w/d) at Brooks Automation in Tägerwilen, Switzerland. The Manager Program Management will lead the Program Management team and cross-functional projects for the Brooks Automation CCS RS Group in Tägerwilen (Switzerland).
Overall purpose: The Manager PM will lead the PM team and coordinate a cross-functional team including Design Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain & Logistics, Manufacturing & Test Engineering, Materials, Planning, Quality, Document Control, Service, Finance, and outsourced Contract Manufacturing partners. The Manager PM will be responsible for delivering high-quality, well-documented product solutions that meet and exceed the needs of all team members. The Manager PM may also manage a portfolio of products for a key customer.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Program Management team and set the standards and PM strategy.
* Lead the execution of strategic programs ensuring they are delivered on time, to specification, and at cost. Programs will include New Product Development as well as revenue-driving product line extensions and customizations.
* Be responsible for risk mitigation and change management control for the programs you lead.
* Drive cross-functional program teams to common goals and decisions to mitigate risk with clarity and speed. Cross-functional partners include Design Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Quality, and Service, among others.
* Communicate program status and drive decisions to meet goals; maintain clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams and investment stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and experience in a project management role coordinating a technological product.
* Proven ability to manage multiple, highly complex programs and deliver from concept to commercialization.
* Experience in Program Management for New Product Development.
* Familiarity with program management industry-standard practices, including phase-gate development processes; able to promote best practices.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver results, inspire action toward clear and concise objectives, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
* Ability to drive consensus among project team members.
* Proven leadership and strong communication skills at all organizational levels.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a cross-functional, matrix environment.
* Project Management certification desirable.
* Fluency in German and English required.
