Junior Database Developer — Permanent, Immediate Start
Salary: Up to 85,000 CHF
We are seeking a motivated Junior Database Developer eager to learn and contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of our partners’ database systems. You will join a team of passionate IT professionals who play a key role in supporting the company’s growth and innovation.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our experienced team, gaining hands-on experience in database design, administration, and performance optimization. You will learn to create efficient procedures, improve data structures, and understand how data underpins their products and services.
We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and able to organize their work with guidance. While prior experience with databases is an advantage, a strong interest in technology, statistics, and problem-solving is just as important.
This position offers the chance to work on exciting projects in the fast-moving entertainment industry, supported by advanced streaming technologies.
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
* Solid knowledge of MSSQL (advanced queries, stored procedures, jobs, reporting).
* Familiarity with Microsoft database administration is a plus.
* Detail-oriented, independent, able to multitask, and a strong team player.
* Fluent in French and English
* Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, multicultural, and rapidly growing environment.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain database procedures, structures, reports, and analytics queries.
* Gain in-depth knowledge of the backend systems and serve as backup for the lead database developer.
* Contribute to decisions on database architecture and security.
* Report to the lead database developer and the technical manager.
* Support the development team on cloud migration projects.
