Position Overview
This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and technically oriented individual with a strong interest in advanced instrumentation and customer support. As a Field Service Intern, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and performance verification of Nanolive's cutting-edge imaging platforms. Working closely with experienced service personal, you will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, system calibration, and customer interaction, contributing to the delivery of a high-quality user experience with Nanolive products.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and Support:
* Conduct installations and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites, ensuring seamless integration into workflows.
* Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures and ensure long-term performance.
* Perform software upgrades to keep our customers up-to date.
* Deliver high-quality technical support, troubleshooting issues remotely or on-site to ensure system reliability and customer satisfaction.
* Actively monitor the status of customer contracts. Track and schedule on-site PM visit(s).
Reporting and Collaboration:
* Report handled cases in Customer Relationship Management system on a timely basis. This includes reports related to customer visits.
* Provide feedback to internal teams about customer experiences, documentation improvement, and opportunities for product improvement.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for a positive and effective communication with customers, colleagues and superiors.
What We're Looking For
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Willingness to travel, mainly within Europe.
* Experience within biology laboratory and troubleshooting laboratory equipment is a strong plus.
* Proficiency in instrument systems technology (electronics, fine mechanics, chemistry, and software).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
