We're searching for a Client Engineer – Technical Consultant to join our technical team in Zurich or Geneva. You'll be at the forefront of driving solutions together with the Lenovo Tech community for our key commercial accounts in Switzerland. This isn't just about support; it's about shaping the future of enterprise client environments and developing creative resolutions to complex problems.
You will be responsible for :
1. Managing the technical support relationship from Lenovo towards our key large enterprise & public sector customers in Switzerland
2. Working with Lenovo's technical support teams (Level 1-3) to troubleshoot and provide essential technical sales support and issue resolution for Lenovo's enterprise client device portfolio
3. Supporting solution design and implementation of advanced client technologies, partnering closely with our customers
4. Collaborating with our local sales teams to ensure a unified approach and having significant customer-facing time on-site (30-50%)
5. Dealing with customer representatives at any level, and also with Sales, Services leadership, and technical communities at any level
6. Being a trusted advisor for our customers
Position Requirements
1. Strong technical and project management skills – experience in technical consulting and excellent communication skills with a customer-centric attitude
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry, with knowledge of business customers in the PC industry preferred
3. Degree in Information Technology, System Engineering, or similar subjects, or equivalent work experience
4. Knowledge of PC architecture and in-depth knowledge of current and former operating systems (primarily Microsoft, with preferred knowledge of Linux), Autopilot & Security
5. Experience with Microsoft Endpoint solutions (MECM and Intune, including driver management/deployment & device management)
6. Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell) would be advantageous
7. Ability to connect with customers and work at different levels, managing customer situations and escalations
8. Excellent German and English written and presentation skills; knowledge of French is advantageous
9. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and PC technologies. Flexible, proactive, and highly customer-oriented
10. Excellent organizational skills, self-starter with experience managing multiple initiatives in a demanding and changing environment. Ability to build effective virtual teams and drive results through others in a complex cross-functional organization
