In this leadership role, you will manage the procurement team, shape procurement strategy, and drive the continuous improvement of purchasing processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of performance and collaboration.
* Coordinate and oversee all procurement activities.
* Streamline and enhance procurement-related processes in alignment with business needs.
* Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers.
* Monitor, evaluate and continuously improve supplier performance and relationships.
* Generate and analyze procurement reports and statistics to support data‑driven decisions.
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of procurement data in relevant systems.
* Conduct detailed price comparisons to support cost‑effective purchasing decisions.
* Supervise order processing and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
* Manage invoice approvals and ensure alignment with procurement and finance processes.
Qualifications / Experiences Required
* Completed commercial or technical education (EFZ), supplemented by further training as a certified procurement specialist or equivalent.
* Several years of professional experience in procurement, including proven leadership responsibility.
* Strong coordination and project management capabilities.
* Excellent analytical thinking and sound methodological skills.
* Independent, structured, and self‑disciplined working style.
* Proficient in MS Office and experienced with ERP systems.
* Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, at a business level.
* Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
