You will contribute to the successful commissioning and installation of piping and utility systems at this biopharma site in Visp. You will ensure that utilities meet cGMP, safety, and project deliverables—all while coordinating stakeholders across engineering, operations, QA, and external vendors.
Responsibilities
In close cooperation with the project manager:
• Creating tender specifications for suppliers, flow paths (path diagrams) and process specifications
• Creating test plans for plant construction (FAT, IQ)
• Specifying and dimensioning plant construction components
• Creating energy lists
• Performing logistical project tasks
• Supporting prefabrication and assembly work at customer sites
• Assisting with or independently performing FATs at suppliers or customer sites
• Tagging plants
• Performing pressure tests and passivation together with the PL
• Performing mechanical IQs
• Creating documentation for plant construction
• Design tasks in collaboration with the design team
• Collaboration on internal projects
Qualifications
• Basic training in a technical profession with a university degree or equivalent
• Ideally, basic training or further training in process engineering
• Experience in the design and layout of process engineering plants
• Ideally, initial experience in the design and layout of process engineering plants
• Knowledge of processes and standards in the food/pharmaceutical/chemical industry
• Native speaker of German or French. Good oral and written knowledge of the other language as well as English.
• Knowledge of relevant 2D and 3D drawing tools
