How This Is Achieved
As a Dance teacher, you will embody our core values and create high‑energy dance classes, building dance and performance skills, confidence, and cultural exposure. As a core teacher you will also support office/company operations for smooth behind‑the‑scenes elements.
Position Overview
This is an 80% role (32 hours per week) Monday to Friday. The teaching block is 18–20 hours a week, scheduled from 4:15 pm–8:30 pm.
Overview of Responsibilities
* Teaching
o Prepare classes in advance using lesson plan templates.
o Check and prepare teaching spaces and equipment.
o Deliver best‑in‑class lessons.
o Conduct ad‑hoc school workshops.
* Student Nurturing & Record Keeping
o Take registers at the start of each class.
o Follow up on absent students.
o Ensure students comply with uniform policy.
o Complete evaluation forms with detailed notes of classes and student observations.
o Write and follow up incident reports as necessary.
o Share key academy messages to students, informed by weekly meetings and emails.
* Parent Communication
o Post‑class interactions with parents.
o Regular follow‑ups with parents.
o Deliver parent‑teacher meetings.
* Open Classes / Showcases
o Deliver best‑in‑class open classes.
o Coordinate with voice and drama teachers to ensure synergies across showcases.
o Adapt showcases if necessary.
o Choreograph, rehearse, and deliver best‑in‑class showcases.
* Office Administration / Support
o Attend weekly team meetings.
o Lead projects to aid business growth, including online support.
o Assist with office administration.
o Support curriculum and showcase material.
o Provide showcase support: technical briefings, props, and costume sourcing.
Requirements
* Swiss/EU Nationality or a Swiss Work Permit.
