Application Support Engineer ? IT Trading Team
Location: Lausanne or Olten
Our client, a major player in the Swiss energy sector, is looking for an Application Support Engineer to strengthen its IT Trading Tools & Analysis team.
In this role, you will work directly with Traders, Analysts, and Middle Office, playing a key part in supporting and improving critical business applications.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain applications to meet business requirements
* Provide 1st and 2nd level support for critical applications
* Advise and assist Front Office users with their own developments, promoting best practices
* Propose and implement solutions to optimize and streamline existing tools
Your Profile
* Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* Strong skills in Excel/VBA and Python/Pandas
* Solid experience with SQL and Software Engineering
* Knowledge of Linux & Windows administration
* Fluent English (French or German is a plus)
* Analytical mindset, stress-resistant, and flexible with working hours
