Quality Issues Resolution Manager 100% (f/m/d)
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate global resolution of major product quality issues and escalations, ensuring timely containment and durable corrective actions
* Lead structured problem ‑ solving using 8D methodology and facilitate cross ‑ functional root cause analysis workshops involving engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, and service teams
* Monitor and verify effectiveness of corrective actions before closure to prevent recurrence
* Ensure alignment and structured escalation support for project teams, manufacturing quality, supplier quality, and service organizations during field failures and customer complaints
* Analyze global quality data to identify systemic weaknesses and drive preventive actions across design, manufacturing, supplier management, and service processes
* Maintain a global register of systemic issues and track resolution status for continuous improvement
* Coach regional and factory teams on problem ‑ solving tools and deliver training programs to strengthen organizational capability
* Coach supplier quality and service teams and lead regular coaching sessions to build long ‑ term global problem ‑ solving capability
* Ensure fast response to customer cases, communicate resolution status clearly, and support strategic accounts during escalations
* Improve customer handling discipline through structured coaching for service teams on field failures, complaint handling, and recurrence prevention
* Manage global dashboards and performance reporting, providing leadership updates and validating financial impact of improvements
Qualifications and Required Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
* 8+ years of experience in product quality, technical support, supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or engineering roles
* Proven expertise in 8D methodology and root cause analysis tools (Fishbone, 5 ‑ Why, FMEA)
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing, supplier, and product design processes
* Experience in managing cross ‑ functional teams and global escalations
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to coach and develop problem ‑ solving capability in others
* Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO standards
* International travel required, approximately 20–25%, sometimes on short notice
* Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt - desired
* Fluency in English, Intermediate level in German, Italian desired
