About Our Client
Our client is a pharmaceutical company close to Basel that develops and markets treatments for digestive health conditions worldwide.
Job Description
Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Analyze financial data to provide insights and support decision-making.
Oversee commercial controlling activities: rProfitability analysis, variance analysis, monitoring KPI's like margins, revenue, growth,.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for management review.
Monitor and control financial risks, suggesting improvements where necessary.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Support audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
Minimum o 6 years experience in Controlling
Strong expertise in sales controlling, financial planning, and analysis.
Experience in Pharma or Life Science is a strong plus
Solid knowledge of IFRS and experience in financial reporting and compliance.
Advanced knowledge in ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA is a real plus) and experience with BI tools (SAP Analytics Cloud is a real plus) is highly desired
Proficient in Excel
Fluent in English and good German skills (min. B2) other languages are a plus.
