Senior Investment Funds Lawyer Role
The Private Wealth Structuring team is responsible for designing and scaling our Private Wealth and semi-liquid platform. We develop innovative investment structures and funds globally.
Our structuring professionals collaborate with teams as well as with clients, external professionals and regulators. Representative projects include the establishment and maintenance of open-ended investment vehicles such as limited partnerships and other investment funds, design and formation of bespoke investment structures, review of regulatory frameworks and participation in marketing meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage European Private Wealth structuring initiatives.
* Contribute to defining and implementing an optimal product strategy.
* Develop and maintain robust processes resulting in smooth product launches and maintenance.
* Efficiently manage complex structuring projects from a legal, operational and project management aspect.
* Draft and/or review agreements relating to various investment structures.
* Research tax, legal, regulatory and accounting considerations relevant to specific clients, products and jurisdictions.
* Assume responsibility for all European funds including design of innovative product features.
* Instruct and manage external service providers in a cost-effective manner.
Requirements
* Qualified lawyer with 5-10 years of work experience at a top law firm, bank or asset manager.
* Direct and profound working experience with private markets funds, distribution arrangements, securitized vehicles.
* Substantial experience in setting up funds subject to European regulations.
* Experience working with a global investor base, including distribution partners.
* Excellent analytical, interpersonal and project management skills.
* Strong written and verbal English language skills.
