Your mission
* Simulate and evaluate mission scenarios using flight mechanics and performance models.
* Assess aircraft performance, efficiency, and operational limits across the flight envelope
* Analyze flight test and simulation data to evaluate aircraft behavior, energy consumption, and mission KPIs
* Support the development of mission planning tools and flight envelope visualization
* Interpret results from flight dynamics models (e.g., FlightLab, MATLAB) to extract actionable insights
* Track and manage aircraft mass properties using a structured weight breakdown, including weight maturity (Estimated / Calculated / Actual) and center of gravity calculations.
* Identify and provide relevant performance and dynamics data to support FCS and autopilot functions, including:
o Performance limits and operational boundaries
o Mass properties and aircraft configurations
o Aerodynamic and stability-related characteristics
o Ensure consistency between flight physics models, mission analysis, and control system needs
o Support simulation-in-the-loop (SIL) and integrated validation activities
o Contribute to trajectory optimization and contingency scenario definition
o Document assumptions, analyses, and recommendations for system and mission improvements
