About the job
The main purpose is to secure indirect tax compliance by applying the working processes. You will be responsible for some countries assigned to you and ensure the preparation and correct and on time filing of all Indirect tax returns. This may cover IKEA entities which deal with furniture products and/or food products. You will also advise on indirect tax matters support in audits and projects.
You will be working with the following tasks:
Ensure the indirect tax compliance by preparing/submitting the indirect tax returns (VAT/GST Intrastat other Listings) and reviewing the compliance data for multiple jurisdictions/countries
Support and participate in multi-country Indirect Tax audits/requests from Local Tax authorities
Other taxes related to food products may also be handled by the candidate
VAT rate determination for the assigned countries
Support internal stakeholders in indirect tax Topics/Questions (Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Accounting Financial Controlling etc.)
Support and participate in Indirect Tax projects
Ensure that the internal working processes are implemented updated and improved
Prepare reconciliations between indirect tax fillings ERP-System and other systems
Participate and support in the payment and refund process
Initiate improvements
Other indirect tax related tasks assigned to you by the Indirect Tax Manager
Qualifications :
About you
To be successful in this role you need to have:
Relevant University degree (MSc/BSc) in economics / business administration / law
Minimum 2-3 years working experience in indirect tax compliance with exposure to multiple jurisdictions / countries
Very good knowledge of English both verbally and written
Good knowledge in Excel
Proven ability to work with multiple information systems
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines

Additional Information :
We are hiring for a full-time job (40 hours / week) which is based in Pratteln CH.
Due to the currently long processing times for work permits applicants with Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship will be given preference during the recruitment process.
