This Position reports to:
Engineering Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the execution of testing activities efficiently and cost-effectively, in line with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies.
You will assist Test Engineers with product and system testing on a daily basis. Your expertise will also be reflected in the preparation of standardized test records and the completion of test documentation.
Work model: Onsite
Location: Motion business area, Untersiggenthal region
Key responsibilities include:
- Operation, maintenance, and optimization of serial test stations, including troubleshooting, modifications, and the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and schematics.
- Contributing to energy-efficient and cost-effective operation of test stations, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety measures.
- Training and supporting test station users, as well as coordinating with suppliers and external service providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Developing and implementing optimization measures to improve test quality, process reliability, and system availability.
Qualifications for the Role
- Completed education as a technician in electrical, energy, or systems engineering – alternatively, as an automation technician or electrician with a willingness to pursue further training.
- Ideally, experience in building electrical test systems (high voltage) and in planning and programming PLC controls.
- Confident, assertive, and a strong team player.
- German is the working language; good English skills are an advantage.
