With significant visibility and responsibility, you will play a key role in shaping the delivery of legal services within a lean and agile environment, working closely with global clients.Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and precise, thriving in an international setting that values respect and humility.Key ResponsibilitiesData protection:Advise clients on required actions in view of data privacy compliance, including initial audit of current status of compliance;Review relevant documentation and implement processes to ensure continued compliance with GDPR and FADP;Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect data privacy complianceCommercial law:Serve as the first point of contact for a broad range of commercial legal matters, providing timely and practical advice to clients.Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.Provide legal guidance on corporate processes, including entity formation, governance, and compliance with Swiss and international laws.Conduct legal research on cross-border matters, helping anticipate and manage risksContribute to the creation of templates, playbooks, and internal processes for efficiency and consistencySupport decision-making with clarity and precisionQualification and ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience as an attorney or as an in-house legal counsel, with specific focus on commercial law, contract law, and data privacy law.Excellent spoken and written English and French, including demonstrated drafting skills. Additional language(s) would be an assetSwiss law degree, or other law degree with at least 5 years of relevant legal work experience in SwitzerlandGDPR or FADP competence certification and experienceAbility to work independently, but eager to work as a teamA proactive mindset, you flag issues before they become problemsLegally registered as an independent worker in Switzerland
