We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to be the “front line” of the People team. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers and assist with the management of the overall HR operations and the delivery of strategic objectives in line with the needs and priorities of Ten. You will work in partnership with leaders, key stakeholders and People Experience colleagues to shape, develop and deliver HR plans and solutions.

This role is designed to reduce complexity for employees, remove silos between teams, and ensure every person at Ten has a smooth, engaging, and consistent Employee Journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Advisory

* Act as the first point of contact for everyday HR queries (e.g. annual leave, probation, policy clarifications, underperformance support etc).
* Advise managers on routine employee relations processes (e.g. disciplinaries, preparing for informal conversations etc).
* Escalate complex or high-risk matters (e.g. grievances, formal ER cases, legal issues) when necessary.
* Support smooth onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with the wider People team.

Induction & Company-Wide Training

* Deliver the first two days of induction for new starters, creating a warm and informative welcome.
* Coordinate and deliver mandatory company-wide training sessions (e.g. compliance, health & safety briefings, culture sessions etc).
* Upskill managers

Compliance

* Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
* Be responsible for ensuring Company policies are up to date, reflect all legal changes and are accessible to employees.

Reporting

* Produce regular and relevant People Analytics.
* Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the People Experience department to develop solutions, programs and policies.

People Management (1 report)

* See to the personal development of your line report, ensuring they are working towards excellent performance and their career goals. 
* Hold your line report accountable for the delivery of responsibilities as outlined in their job descriptions. 

Other

* Encourage employees within the business to self-serve using the HR tools available, using each opportunity to coach and educate on HR issues to promote self-sufficiency.



Guidelines for Hybrid/Home Office :

* Located in Zurich
* Please note that you will be asked to enter into a hybrid working arrangement - at least 2x a week in the office.
* A secure home office at your confirmed address, free from background noise or other distractions.
* You must meet our minimum internet speeds if you want to work in our hybrid model and this will be checked during the recruitment process and again when you join. We also have a great office that you can work from as an alternative.

Requirements

Essential requirements:

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar HR role (HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor).
* Experience advising managers on routine HR processes (probation, underperformance, absence, disciplinaries).
* Confident in presenting and facilitating group learning sessions.
* Working knowledge of Swiss employment law and HR best practice.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust and credibility at all levels.
* Organised and proactive, with strong time management and ability to balance multiple responsibilities.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Passion for creating a positive employee experience and thriving workplace culture.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
* Fluent in English & German
