Heavy vehicle mechanic - bus m/f at 100%

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a

• At least 3 years of proven experience in heavy vehicle mechanics (Minibus, Tourist Coach and Public Transport Bus) essential
• Valid category D driving licence essential
• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as Electromechanic, Electrician or an equivalent qualification with solid knowledge in electricity / electronics
• Good knowledge of public transport is an advantage
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written), English is an advantage
• Autonomous, versatile, rigorous, flexible with good interpersonal and team skills
• Ability to reach the workplace from home within 30 minutes

• Routine and periodic maintenance of electric and thermal vehicles
• Fault diagnosis (electrical, electronic or mechanical)
• Inspection and adjustment of mechanical assemblies constituting the vehicles (pneumatic circuit, hydraulic, heating, air conditioning, tyres, etc.)
• Electro-technical and preventive repair on heavy vehicles / buses
• Preparation for technical inspections
• Verification of vehicle-related technical documentation
• Reading electrical diagrams
• Keeping the mechanical workshop clean and tidy
• Application of quality and safety procedures in force within the company
• Carrying out breakdown repairs as well as telephone on-call duties in the evenings and at weekends
• Driving if needed occasionally in agreement with operations
