As a member of our Sales team, you will use your scientific knowledge and interpersonal skills to support great science by advising our academic and industrial partners to help drive their research forward. You'll work to identify and acquire new customers to drive new business, while also managing existing accounts and relationships in your region. In this role you will have a broad and immediate impact on scientific discovery by leveraging your scientific expertise and strategic thinking to provide expert consultation and become a trusted ally in the scientific process.
Please note that while this is a remote (home office) role, there is travel within the region required. The posted salary is inclusive of base salary and commissions.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
* Forecast, develop and execute territory strategies to achieve or exceed revenue target in assigned territory on a quarterly basis
* Leverage product knowledge to develop, grow and maintain customer relationships and perform product demonstrations
* Develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers within the territory, through prospecting, emails, phone calls, and virtual and in-person meetings
* Document communications and keep the customer relationship management (CRM) database up to date
Knowledge and Qualifications
* Master's or Doctorate degree in the life sciences, with strong experience in cell culture (previous Sales experience is an asset, but not required)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Broad knowledge in area of expertise, including products, processes, practices, and approaches
* Demonstrate expertise in the competitor landscape and proficiency on the entire product portfolio
* Display proficiency in lab skills and ability to troubleshoot complex customer issues

The annual salary for this job ranges from:
CHF140, CHF211,300.00
STEMCELL determines an individual's pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package that may include health benefits, retirement savings, and more (depending on region).
