We have therefore developed the world's lightest exoskeleton of its kind and work everyday towards ever more inclusion through disruptive technology. /p h3Position Summary /h3 pAs a Lead Mechanical Engineer at TWIICE, your primary responsibility will be to study the main core material of a carbon composite to optimize its manufacturing process. You will play a crucial role in finding an industrial partner for the manufacturing of carbon composite parts that adhere to medical standards, as well as supervising the production process development and implementation of quality control measures. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and manage mechanical and structural engineering projects from concept to completion. /li liDevelop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. /li liCoordinate with cross‑functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure project objectives are met. /li liGrow the development team by screening and hiring top‑level candidates. /li liMaterial analysis and optimization of the core material of carbon composites. /li liDevelop and implement strategies to enhance the manufacturing process of carbon composites. /li liTranslate product functional requirements into product features. /li liSupervise and execute the hardware development of our robotic exoskeleton product while accounting for manufacturing constraints. /li liPerform structural analysis and simulations to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs. /li liUnderstand and comply with medical device regulations, including design control, risk management, defect management, and change management processes. /li liIdentify and secure an industrial partner capable of manufacturing carbon composite parts in compliance with medical standards. /li liNegotiate terms and oversee the collaboration with the selected industrial partner. /li liPrepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. /li liDevelop and implement quality control protocols to ensure all manufactured parts meet stringent medical standards. /li liConduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high‑quality production standards. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liAt least 5 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. /li liProven experience in the field of carbon composites and material optimization. /li liCompetency in gluing composite materials and understanding of best practices in adhesive bonding for composites. /li liStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards, particularly in the medical industry. /li liExperience with development under medical device regulations (IEC 62304) and working within an ISO 13485 certified QMS, is a plus. /li liExcellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. /li liStrong communication and negotiation skills. /li liProved capacity to work in teams, propose and debate solutions, as well as excellent communication of work results. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liAn opportunity to make the world a better place and to have a major impact on people's life. /li liGrowth potential.
