YOUR ROLE
As a Procurement Transformation Lead, you will drive strategic and operational transformation programs across the procurement value chain - from Operating Model & Governance to Digital Procurement, Category Excellence, Supplier Collaboration and Sustainable Procurement. You will serve as a trusted advisor to CPOs and procurement leadership teams, leading consulting engagements end to end. With your expertise, you continuously develop our products and services in a market oriented way and open up new customer segments, contributing to CE Switzerland’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead high impact Procurement Transformation engagements
Define procurement strategies, target operating models, category strategies, and transformation roadmaps
Drive digital procurement initiatives (eProcurement, Source to Pay, AI enabled sourcing, automation)
Guide clients through process redesign, capability building, organizational change, and performance improvement
Shape thought leadership & innovative solutions
Develop market relevant points of view on AI in procurement, supplier risk, ESG requirements, resilience, and cost excellence
Contribute to CE and Invent global communities, assets, and transformation frameworks with focus on key procurement topics
Client leadership & relationship building
Act as the primary engagement lead for senior stakeholders (CPO, COO, CFO)
Identify growth opportunities, craft proposals, and support account development
Coach consultants and contribute to developing the Procurement Transformation capability in Switzerland
Commercial responsibilities
Drive sales, pipeline generation, go to market activity and strong project delivery for Procurement and Corporate Transformation
Drive utilization, project margin, and client satisfaction to meet practice KPIs
Continuously develop your team based on market-relevant capabilities to ensure high-quality performance
YOUR PROFILE
University degree with 8+ years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Procurement Transformation, or broader Corporate/Operational Transformation
Experience in consulting, or relevant industry leadership roles
Experience in leading interdisciplinary teams in procurement and supply management, possess strong communication skills, and confidently engage across all hierarchical levels
Strong understanding of Source to Contract, Procure to Pay, category management, supplier management, procurement analytics, and digital procurement platforms
Exposure to digital, analytics and AI enabled procurement solutions (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, SAP S/4HANA procurement, GenAI sourcing assistants)
Proven ability to manage projects, lead teams, and steer senior stakeholders
Excellent analytical, communication, and storytelling skills
Fluent in English and German
