Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to develop and operate the commercial and performance management framework for a complex program environment.
In this role, you will ensure transparency across budget, resources, timelines, and program performance, enabling management to make informed decisions throughout the program lifecycle. You will support program leadership through financial planning, forecasting, performance monitoring, and strategic steering.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop the financial management framework for the program during the initialization phase
Prepare budget plans, financial forecasts, and resource planning models
Establish planning structures for both financial and program-related activities
Design and implement KPI and performance measurement frameworks
Prepare and communicate financial and operational reports to management
Monitor program performance across budget, timeline, and resource utilization
Conduct target vs. actual comparisons and analyze deviations
Support forecasting and financial planning cycles
Ensure transparency of financial performance and program progress
Translate program objectives into operational financial plans and monitoring tools
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support management decisions
Perform process and weakness analyses within financial and operational workflows
Identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements
Contribute to the continuous development of program governance and reporting structures
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in financial controlling, program controlling, or business controlling
Experience working with large projects, programs, or transformation initiatives
Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis
Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities
Experience working with KPI frameworks and reporting systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate strategic objectives into operational financial plans
Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Fluent German and English (minimum C1 level, written and spoken).
