What you'll be doing here
4. Collaborate on an EU Horizon project together with international partners
5. Develop conversion routes for plant biomass
6. Chemically characterize intermediate products of the conversion pathways
7. Optimize a novel bio-based adhesive system based on non-isocyanate polyurethane NIPU chemistry
8. Publish your results in scientific peer-reviewed journals and write a dissertation based at the University of Göttingen
What you'll bring with you
9. Master's degree in wood technology, materials sciences, chemistry, or a related field
10. Experience in wood chemistry and polymer chemistry
11. Strong interest in interdisciplinary research and innovation
12. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
13. Fluency in English (written and spoken), knowledge of German or French an advantage
