Your Tasks
* Preparing, creating, and updating training documents such as Technician Training Manuals or Cockpit Posters for training aircraft maintenance personnel, pilots (ground theory only), and specialists based on EASA Part 147/66 and EASA Part FCL regulations.
* Producing descriptive, operational, and procedural texts from engineering reports, drawings, and general aircraft documentation for manuals.
* Analyzing engineering wiring diagrams to produce functional block schematic diagrams and supporting texts.
* Creating draft illustrations and illustration packages from drawings and photographs to aid in final artwork preparation.
* Discussing and agreeing on maintenance procedures from a practical perspective with engineering departments.
* Responding to documentation queries from customers and internal departments.
With this, you convince us
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a technical author writing aircraft electrical or avionic documentation.
* Aeronautical electrical or avionic apprenticeship or formal training.
* Practical experience in aviation, through flying or hands-on work.
* Good knowledge of engineering drawing systems and aircraft documentation.
* English skills (minimum C1 level); German skills are an advantage.
* Good communication and social skills.
