Job Description
As Business Development Manager of our industrial segment you will develop the global business of your assigned markets and manage our indirect sales channel. You will occassionally be traveling within Europe and overseas. Your main objectives are:
* Define clear focus of market segments and ensure that the go-to-market activities are aligned to these.
* Provide appropriate support and ensure that deep knowledge of the assigned markets is exchanged, and that best practices are implemented.
* Define action plan with market and customer analyses to achieve the business plan.
* Support external sales partners and act as their contact for technical and commercial requests.
* Identify customer requirements, market trends and benchmarks to enable focused product developments for sustainable growth.
* Ensure that INP (introduction of new products) targets are met and in case of gaps, propose an action plan and monitor its execution.
Qualifications
* Degree in sales & marketing or in industrial or electrical engineering
* Strong affinity for technology and IoT
* Experience in Sales & Business Development or in Product Management for technical products
* Flair for data analytics and financial business cases (e.g. TCO calculations)
* Strong IT user skills (MS Office, Sharepoint, Monday, CRM, SAP)
* Intercultural competence deepened by working in an international environment
* Good communicator with the ability to motivate and drive reps & distributors to go the extra mile
* Proficient in English, good communition level in German, any other language is a plus
