This role refers to our Automotive brands as we undertake a large-scale rewrite to simplify products and strengthen the technology stack. We work with a modern Java-based stack, following best practices, and aim to measure and learn with high cadence. The team operates across six countries (Switzerland, Serbia, Vietnam, France, Germany, and India).
Your Mission
* Work as part of an agile team: Be the voice of QA during agile ceremonies. Autonomously drive the testing life cycle to ensure quality from medium to large size features while reducing technical debt and legacy issues. Collaborate with agile teams to ship valuable product increments. Actively participate in ticket refinement / grooming by bringing up unforeseen scenarios and use cases.
* Perform thorough functionality tests: Review acceptance criteria, developer notes, and design documents to formulate test cases. Test domain-driven web applications referencing database-heavy back-end systems and check consistency across devices, browsers, and operating systems. Conduct periodic exploratory testing in test environments.
* Be responsible for product quality: Work with engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle. Provide inputs on high-level test scenarios, challenges, risks, resources, test estimates, etc., during test planning meetings.
* Support Bug Triage: Reproduce bugs, isolate problems, verify fixes, and report bugs/defects in a clear, friendly, and easily reproducible manner. Track incidents, perform root cause analysis, and propose action items. Track defects and help troubleshoot errors.

Qualifications
* 4+ years’ experience in the same role.
* Hands-on experience in: API testing using Postman for REST-based designs; UI testing of responsive web applications (preferably React); database testing (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL).
* A pragmatic and proactive approach to problem-solving.
* A strong sense of ownership and accountability for the product’s quality.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and an Agile mindset.
* Willing to take on new challenges proactively.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
* Understanding of automation testing concepts or ability to perform automation testing (e.g., Cypress).
* Basic scripting skills (e.g., JavaScript).
* Experience with mobile testing (iOS and/or Android).
* Familiarity with security testing principles.
