Expert Engine Controls Application
Responsibilities
* Takes the responsibility to overall combine the engine with its controls, its adjustment and fine-tuning.
* Cooperates with other experts from engine and control development areas to provide safe and reliable operational solutions.
* Actively supports the creation of the engines' operational manuals and similar technical documents.
* Captures requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
* Delivers training to our collaborators on engine controls, ensuring they receive accurate calibration guidelines.
* Is the technical contact persons for subcontractors and suppliers in his area of responsibility.
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills, capable of conveying detailed technical information effectively to upper management, engineering departments, and technical staff at all levels.
* Is an effective team player, open and cooperative, in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
Requirements
* Proven knowledge in automation and controls is prerequisite.
* Proven knowledge in reciprocating, internal combustion engines as well.
* Experience in system identification and calibration.
* Basic knowledge in project management.
* Ready to travel several times per year for some weeks.
* Open and flexible.
* Good social skills, can work together with further experts in an interdisciplinary environment.
* Very fluent in English.
* Good German is of advantage.
