Our Community & Governance department is fostering a global and diverse AO community in the clinical specialties of trauma, spine, craniomaxillofacial, veterinary and reconstructive surgery. It consists of three main areas: Community Development, Marketing, and management of leading AO Specialty Boards.

Short Description
The Project Manager Sponsorship is responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of sponsorship-related projects. This is a temporary (12months) maternity cover role, where ideal candidate is bringing strong stake-holder managemnet and willingness to work in a complex environment.
Main Responsibilities
1. Develop and manage concepts and strategies for Sponsorships, Partnerships and Exhibitors, including creating outreach strategies and sponsorship prospectuses
2. Supports the roll-out and implementations of business development initiatives
3. Develops and maintains relationships with key partners
4. Maintains a list of single points on contacts for Key Accounts (Partner, Sponsors, Exhibitors)

Main Requirements
11. University degree in marketing, business, or communications, or at least 5 years professional experience in the field
12. Proven record of professional experience in Business Development, Sponsorship, or relationship building (3-5 years)
13. Experience in medical events/course organization would be an advantage
14. Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain relations with Health Care Professionals at all levels and broader stakeholders
15. Excellent customer orientation and knowledge
16. Good problem solving and strong analytical skills
17. A collaborative, solution-focused approach, ability to collaborate well with others and work cross-functionally across the organization
18. Effective Team player skills through consistent reliability and support
19. Good project management skills, ability to plan and prioritize tasks
20. Excellent written and verbal English, other regional relevant languages are a plus
