The team As part of the Commercial Services department, the Insights team is dedicated to setting and maintaining the highest industry standards in data collection, management, analysis, and reporting. With a strong focus on data quality, governance, and storytelling, Insights ensures that TEAM’s decisions are rooted in evidence and aligned with business goals. The role This fixed-term Insights Analyst position (through September 2027) offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data, strategy, and elite-level sport. You will be a valued member of the Insights team, contributing to high-impact work that supports UEFA Men’s Club Competitions (UMCC), and TEAM’s wider business development activities. The role is hands-on and varied, combining analysis, reporting, research, and collaboration across multiple teams. You will help turn complex datasets into actionable insights that inform commercial decisions, supports rights holders and commercial partners, and improve how performance is understood across the media and sponsorship landscape. Your responsibilities will include the following: Supporting the day-to-day management of the UMCC research programme, including broadcast media reporting, consumer research, and monitoring how commercial assets perform and are delivered. Leading digital media monitoring and analysis across social, web, and app channels, including maintaining tracking set-ups, evaluating campaign performance, analysing broader industry trends, and managing external suppliers and tools. Producing clear, accurate, and actionable reports using data from multiple sources for internal stakeholders and client-facing presentations. Contributing to TEAM’s broader business development efforts by identifying knowledge gaps and exploring new research opportunities. Supporting the development and continuous improvement of TEAM’s data management infrastructure, tools, and processes. Assisting with the development of TEAM’s data supplier landscape. Maintaining and optimising TEAM’s existing information sources, including self-service platforms, sports industry publications, and newsletters. The candidate You are curious, motivated by learning, and interested in how data can be used to answer real-world questions. You enjoy working collaboratively, take pride in producing high-quality work, and are keen to contribute in an international, team-oriented environment. You may already have some experience with data analysis and/or data visualisation tools, or you may be at an early stage and eager to develop these skills further. You are comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to organise, analyse, and present information clearly. Any exposure to website or app tracking, digital analytics, or social media monitoring (campaign or account-based) is an advantage, but not a key requirement. You have a natural aptitude for working with numbers and strong critical thinking skills, allowing you to adapt quickly and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. You are organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple requests and priorities. You communicate clearly, respond well to change, and enjoy working with others to find practical solutions.
