For a scientific company in Lugano we're looking for a
Scientific Programmes Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and development of scientific programmes for events.
- Manage Scientific Committees and invited speakers, including coordinating meetings and travel arrangements.
- Support abstract management, including submission processes and communication with presenters.
- Help with the preparation and updating of online programmes and event-related communications.
- Collaborate with external agencies for travel, accommodation, and other logistical needs.
- Provide general administrative support to the department, including meeting minutes and expense reimbursement processing.
Qualifications:
- A degree or professional administrative experience in an office environment.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience in event management or interest in scientific publications
- Residence in Switzerland
