For an international company based in Zug, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Accountant. This position is ideal for an Auditor or Junior Accountant with around 2-3 years of experience who would like to move into an operational in-house role and gradually take on more responsibility.
Corporate Accountant - English & German required (m/w/d) - 80-100%
Your tasks
* Full ownership of financial accounting and reporting
* Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
* Assist in managing trade accounting activities (revenue accruals, COGS, inventory valuation, collateral control)
* Preparation of VAT returns and support in tax-related matters
* Support in payment runs and communication with banks
* Close collaboration with external auditors during audit processes
* Assistance in maintaining and improving accounting processes and systems
* Administrative and finance-related support to the General Manager
* Support in payroll accounting and social security declarations (small headcount)
* Participation in the upcoming ERP implementation project
Your profile
* Completed education or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Swiss Federal Certificate in Finance & Accounting is a plus)
* Around 2-3 years of experience in Audit or Financial Accounting, including experience with IFRS
* Strong interest in operational accounting and end-to-end processes
* Solid Excel skills and first experience with ERP systems
* Fluent English (company language) and good German for local communication
* Structured, reliable, and eager to learn
* Hands‑on mentality with attention to detail
