About Travel Guard
This role is part of our Travel Guard team. Travel Guard is a leading travel insurance brand, serving millions of leisure and business travellers worldwide. Established in 1982 we offer a comprehensive portfolio of travel insurance solutions and global assistance services. Travel Guard operates service centres across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, ensuring 24/7 support to help travellers navigate unexpected circumstances that may disrupt their plans. Travel Guard became part of Zurich Cover-More in December 2024.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role you will manage core accounting functions for multiple legal entities. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accuracy and compliance while delivering exceptional service.
* Prepare and post general journal entries
* Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations
* Prepare financial statements
What skills and experience you’ll bring on this journey:
* A minimum of an associate’s degree in accounting
* 5+ years of related experience (managing the general ledger, balance sheet, etc)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines
* Ability to effectively multi-task, learn quickly, and think outside of the box
* Keen eye for details and strong analytical skills
* Desire to learn to establish a solid foundation of the bigger picture
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
