About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable individual to join our team as an Accounting Team Leader. You will report to the Head of Finance. Your responsibilities include overseeing the management of our Finance Department in accordance with instructions from your direct line manager, management board, legal provisions, and Coesia group guidelines. Your primary focus will be ensuring timely reporting to the group and internal units, establishing efficient finance processes, and contributing to the increase of Hapa's profitability in business and accounting matters.
Responsibilities
Month & year-end closing of accounts, including accruals, provisions, closing entries, and capitalization of R&D costs (in accordance with CFO).
Finance & accounting for Hapa: managing accounts according to IFRS and Swiss law for general and sub-ledgers (AR, AP, Fixed Assets).
Payment transactions with banks, petty cash management, cash forecast preparation, monitoring of bank guarantees, and timely VAT return & reconciliation, with VAT know-how.
Monitor foreign currency exposure and ensure risk coverage with forward hedging contracts. Keep the Head of Finance informed about financial risks and opportunities.
Maintain IKS control system.
Support interdepartmental ad-hoc projects from an accounting perspective.
Monthly monitoring and reporting of Opex, including forecasting & budgeting with cost center responsible persons.
Collaborate with cost center responsible persons to ensure accurate financial planning and resource allocation.
What You Need To Be Successful
Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance & Accounting or similar qualification.
Experience in accounting & work-in-progress.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools and other finance tools (ERP).
Experience managing a team.
Hands-on approach and team player mentality.
