We are growing our Mechanical Systems Engineering team and are looking for experienced engineers to support the development and certification of one of our top clients.
We are hiring engineers with experience in aircraft system design, integration, verification, and certification across multiple ATA domains from the Air Transport Association.
Responsibilities
System Development
* Define system architectures, requirements, and interfaces
* Support component selection and system integration
* Manage technical interfaces with suppliers
Verification & Testing
* Develop verification plans and test procedures
* Support laboratory and aircraft-level testing
* Analyze test data and resolve technical issues
Certification
* Support compliance with CS/FAR Part 23
* Prepare certification documentation and engineering reports
* Ensure compliance with standards such as DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754A
Engineering Collaboration
* Work with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, software, safety)
* Participate in design reviews and safety assessments (FMEA / FTA)
Requirements
* Knowledge of at least one ATA system (ATA 21 – Environmental Control Systems; ATA 25-03 – Cabin Equipment / Interior Systems; ATA 26 – Fire Protection; ATA 28 – Fuel Systems; ATA 30 – Ice Protection; ATA 32 – Landing Gear; ATA 38 – Water & Waste Systems)
* Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
* 5+ years experience in aircraft systems engineering
* Experience with development, integration, or certification of aircraft systems
* Systems engineering and requirements management (DOORS or similar)
* Ability to read system architecture diagrams, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
* Experience with system verification, validation, and certification
* Knowledge of safety analysis methods (FMEA, FTA)
* Fluent English required, German is a plus
