We are exclusively mandated to recruit a Senior Housekeeper / Experienced House Manager for a very high-end private residence belonging to a private family (UHNWI) based in the Geneva region, Switzerland.
Senior Housekeeper / Experienced House Manager - Private Family (UHNWI)
As Senior Housekeeper, you will report directly to the Household Manager, who has been working with the family for several years.
Your main workplace will be the residence located in the Geneva region. However, you will need to be flexible to accompany the family on a summer trip of 3 to 4 weeks to another destination in Europe. Accommodation will then be provided.
This is a full-time position (100%) offering a long-term opportunity under a permanent contract (CDI). The position comes with a very competitive salary. No accommodation is provided at the main workplace, but accommodation is covered during travel.
Main responsibilities
Ensure the operational excellence of the residence by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation.
Ensure impeccable maintenance of private and common areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, dressing rooms, and reception areas.
Supervise stocks of linen, cleaning products, consumables, and welcome products, while anticipating replenishment needs.
Regularly check the condition of equipment and coordinate necessary maintenance interventions.
Guarantee consistent presentation quality by paying particular attention to details and finishing touches.
Participate in the daily coordination of property activities and ensure smooth communication with various service providers and stakeholders.
Welcome guests and service providers with professionalism, discretion, and a sense of service.
Anticipate the family’s expectations and adapt flexibly to a demanding private environment.
Always respect the principles of confidentiality, discretion, and loyalty inherent to a private residence.
Profile sought
Proven experience of several years in a similar role within a high-end private residence, working for private families or in luxury hospitality.
Excellent command of French and good understanding of English.
Legal authorisation to work in Switzerland or a European Union country.
Current residence in Switzerland or continental Europe (interviews will be held in person).
Strong attention to detail and high standards of quality.
Great discretion, reliability, excellent interpersonal skills, and impeccable service sense.
