R&D Designer (Konstrukteur/in EFZ)
to strengthen our teams in Hitachi Energy Research center in Baden-Daettwil. In this position, you will be contributing to the design and technology development projects in our CAD/PLM landscape for ongoing research.
How You'll Make An Impact
* 3D/2D CAD/PLM implementation from concept design to prototype/test object within technology development projects
* Create, modify and analyze the design of selected components and prototypes/test objects of switching devices in close collaboration with R&D engineers and Scientists
* Safety compliance for pressurized vessels and mechanical loads, including stress analysis of selected components
* Manage procurement of components and materials in coordination with logistics
* Support our laboratory engineers and technicians in assembling and operating new prototypes/test objects
Your background
* Successfully completed apprenticeship as Konstrukteur/in EFZ
* Excellent know-how in CAD/PLM systems, ideally PTC CREO and PTC Windchill
* Creative, independent and goal-oriented mindset
* Passion for tackling technical challenges, ideally with hands-on experience
* Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
