The COO division encompasses several departments supporting client-facing teams, with a global presence covering activities and client services including Operations, Finance & Tax, Information Technology, Credit, Human Resources, Security & Data Governance, Programme Management, and General Services. It aims to provide excellent service to both in-house departments and external providers to ensure efficient business operations.
Mission
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our IT Network team. As the Team Leader, you will oversee daily operations, provide regular updates on projects and initiatives, and offer technical advice to ensure the success of our IT network.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of 8 network engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
* Ensure network performance and availability, managing all network incidents in accordance with our SLA.
* Oversee the administration and maintenance of our global network infrastructure, including configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
* Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, implementing and monitoring security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of our IT network.
* Manage IT network-related projects and initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting to ensure timely delivery aligned with business objectives.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency within the IT network environment.
* Manage the yearly budget, ensure spending respects budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including morning start shifts.
* Possess a Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
* Have at least 7 years of networking experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a technical lead role within a regulated industry, preferably banking.
* Have strong technical expertise in network protocols, firewall configuration, and network equipment configuration.
* Communicate effectively in English and French, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Have project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver results on time.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, PaloAlto, F5) are advantageous; ITIL certification is essential.
