We’re looking for a Test and Reliability Engineer within our R&D department (Electronic Systems & RF Team) to help us develop high-quality, reliable hearing device accessories that positively impact lives.As the Test and Reliability Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our innovation journey ensuring product performance and reliability while empowering cross-functional teams in electronics, RF, and mechanical engineering.Key responsibilitiesReliability EngineeringLead the planning and documentation of reliability initiatives, including Reliability Plans and FMEAServe as a reliability subject matter expert, providing guidance to cross-functional teams.Design and conduct lifetime testing for products and components.Perform root cause analysis and propose design improvements based on findings.Hardware TestingTake ownership of hardware testing as the HW Test Manager for various product development projects.Develop strategic test plans that accurately reflect real-world conditions, risk factors, and project timelines.Coordinate with engineers across electronics, RF, acoustics, and mechanics to ensure comprehensive and insightful testing.Utilize Polarion to manage verification plans, test cases, and reporting.Support the team in the development of test systems (hardware and software).Document the specifications and procedures for test systems.Your profileMust-HavesA Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering.Hands-on experience in electronics development, preferably in hearing technology or miniaturized devices.Proficient in LabVIEW / TestStand or PythonProficient in Altium DesignerSkilled in FMEA (preferably as a moderator) and understanding of regulatory standards.Confident working on prototypes and PCBs, with attention to small-scale components.Fluent in EnglishNice-to-HavesExperience in Minitab, or MatlabExperience in project management.Certification in Reliability Engineering or Testing (ISTQB).Working knowledge of German and/or French.What Sets You Apart:A collaborative problem-solver who enjoys tackling challenges with structure and creativity.Highly self-driven, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.A team player who thrives on collaboration and open communication.Adept in conflict management, negotiation, and critical thinking.Experienced with Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Office tools.Ready to Innovate with us?Join a dynamic R&D environment where innovation meets purpose.
