Key Account Manager Opportunity
You will be part of a team representing a leading industry cloud provider, specifically their Development Cloud and Quality Solutions for selected pharma and biotech companies.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Nurturing and expanding relationships within accounts, winning new business, overseeing renewals, and consistently offering innovative solutions.
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate. You will also serve as the custodian for your customers within the organization, focusing on their needs and doing the right thing for them.
Key accountabilities include:
* Manage and extend relationships with key stakeholders across Business, IT, and C-level.
* Develop and implement account vision, strategy, and ways of working.
* Stay current with industry trends and engage customers in addressing their business challenges.
* Act with urgency, integrity, and a focus on the customer.
* Meet/Exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
* 5+ years combined experience across sales, account management, and consulting services.
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
* Sales experience with life science software solutions.
* Excellent account planning and execution skills.
* Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work with a wide range of customers, from end users to C-level.
* Highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision.
* A passion for solving customer business problems.
* Team-first mentality.
* Business-level fluency in German and English; other European languages are beneficial.
Nice to Have
The following qualifications would be advantageous:
* 5+ years of account management within the life science industry.
* Understanding of R&D software solutions, particularly clinical, quality, regulatory, and safety.
