Recognized as a privileged partner of the Group's brands for the production of ceramics, sapphire glasses, and watch stones destined for the watchmaking industry, we are offering a position at our production site in Boncourt for: QUALITY TECHNICIAN (M/F)Main mission:The Quality Technician & Continuous Improvement is responsible for the conformity of watch case components, working closely with the production teams. He/she leads continuous improvement projects aimed at stabilizing, ensuring reliability, and optimizing industrial processes. His/her role is hands-on, with a strong technical dimension, including quality data analysis, problem-solving, and managing a team of technicians dedicated to implementing actions from the position.Responsibilities:- Strengthen the quality performance of case products.- Identify and reduce sources of non-conformity.- Structure and monitor continuous improvement approaches to enhance the robustness of processes and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the teams.- Map and understand critical stages of processes (Injection, CNC machining, polishing, surface treatment, assembly).- Collaborate with the Methods, Production, and Quality departments to ensure reliable workflows and reduce technical or continuous improvement vulnerabilities.- Propose, structure, and lead improvement projects: define objectives, action plans, resources, implement validated solutions, and measure their effectiveness (before/after).Team Management:- Manage a team of quality technicians, distribute tasks, ensure action follow-up, and raise awareness among technicians about quality standards and continuous improvement practices.Candidate Profile:- Degree in engineering (HES) or equivalent in quality, mechanics, microtechnology, industrial production, or a related field.- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally in the watchmaking sector or in a precision industry.- Knowledge of specific quality requirements in the watchmaking sector (aesthetic tolerances, high-end finishes) is essential.Technical Skills:- In-depth knowledge of industrial processes related to casing.- Proficiency in quality tools (FMEA, SPC, control plans).- Data analysis skills (advanced Excel).- Good understanding of technical drawings, dimensional tolerances, geometric and aesthetic specifications.Behavioral Skills:- Analytical mind, rigor, and methodical approach.- Leadership and ability to unite.- Comfortable in a hands-on environment and self-reliant.Languages:- Fluent French is essential.- Technical English is a plus for reading documents or potential exchanges with suppliers or clients.Contact Person:Human ResourcesPerrine YALA jid36afc0eaen jit0313aen jpiy26aen
