This position has a grade of 14/13 and reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager.
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will develop the Energy market by executing sales strategies to meet targets and ensure high customer satisfaction. You will create and complete winning bids, estimations, or quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budgets to ensure market competitiveness and high margins aligned with the Energy Industries’ sales strategy, aiming for profitable growth. The work model is based in Switzerland, mainly accountable for:
* Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring positive experiences and providing technical support during sales interactions.
* Sales Execution: Increase sales through strategic initiatives, value-based selling, target setting, and active participation in contract negotiations.
* Bid Management: Manage the preparation of competitive bids and proposals, addressing technical, financial, and project aspects, identifying risks, and ensuring accurate documentation.
* Process & Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal guidelines, efficient use of tools, accurate forecasting, and support administrative and reporting processes.
Qualifications for the role
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
* Over 8 years of experience in related fields such as Bids & Proposals, Engineering in power generation, industry projects, or services
* Experience in Excitation, power electronics systems, protection, or synchronous generators is advantageous
* Knowledge of system modeling or simulation is a plus
* Proven ability to develop strong customer and internal relationships locally and globally, with enjoyment working across cultures and sectors
* Fluent in English; German or French language skills are beneficial
* Willingness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide, with travel up to 15%
