Shape the future of mobility with PROSE as our Head of Finance & Controlling (80–100%, m/f/d).
Your role
As Head of Finance & Controlling, you will take full responsibility for all financial matters across the PROSE Group, both nationally and internationally, from our headquarters in Switzerland. You will lead the entire finance and administration team, overseeing all central and country-specific financial activities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Actively contributing to all areas of financial management, particularly project controlling, monthly closings, and reporting for our business units and country organizations. With your hands-on approach, you will ensure you remain fully informed of and actively manage both operational and strategic topics.
2. Leading budgeting, forecasting, and closing processes, overseeing calculations and liquidity management, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements across all subsidiaries – supported by your international team.
3. Further developing our group-wide ERP system (MS Dynamics) and PowerBI into effective tools for project management, data collection, and automated monthly reporting.
4. Providing management tools and decision-making support for Group Management and the broader leadership team, and acting as a financial coach for our engineering project managers.
5. Leading and inspiring your team of seven direct reports, playing an active role in day-to-day operations, leading finance-related projects yourself, and demonstrating transparent, supportive leadership, professional expertise, and personal presence.
Your profile
* You have extensive experience in the service or project business, ideally in the engineering sector, and are familiar with the practical aspects of project POC-valuation.
* Your natural interest in technical questions within the mobility environment helps you quickly grasp our business model and project dynamics.
* You have strong hands-on experience with MS Dynamics, understand its data structures, and possess skills in configuring financial reports. You are also proficient in Excel and PowerBI.
* You are an experienced, result-oriented, and entrepreneurial personality, with a proven track record from medium-sized or larger internationally active companies.
* You have demonstrated leadership skills in the past, maintain uncomplicated and collegial relationships with employees, colleagues, and stakeholders, communicate at eye level, and are confident negotiating in both German and English.
* You possess strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a quick grasp of complex interrelationships and their implications.
What we offer
* A meaningful and impactful role in a future-oriented industry with passionate customers.
* A lean, agile structure within an internationally active Swiss SME.
* A challenging and varied role with real scope to shape and implement your ideas, working closely with the CEO and Board of Directors.
