Job Description
The Ovation Netherlands DMC team is servicing associations, corporations and agencies. With extensive local expertise, creativity and resources the team specialises in designing and executing event objectives from logistics to exclusive high‑end programmes. You will support the team in the organisation of various projects within the set budget.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Desk research in contribution to overall event design (e.g., branding venue/platform, programme, social programme etc).
* Assist with the creation of proposals for specific clients.
* Maintain contact with suppliers and partners.
* Independently prepare briefings & presentations.
* Have an active role in internal project meetings.
* Maintain the Ovation database.
* On‑site assistance during events.
* Correct handling of the administration and assist in setting up budgets.
Who you are – Skills & Traits
Skills:
* Fluency in Dutch and English (speaking and writing)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident telephone manner
* Knowledge of Amsterdam and its surroundings
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

* Proactive in assisting the team and hands‑on mentality
* Flexible, especially in busy periods
* Adapt comfortably to a fast‑paced environment and adjust to changing priorities and deadlines
