HORTICULTURIST LANDSCAPE GARDENER SUBSTITUTE TO THE SECTOR TEAM LEADER 100% The Municipality of Montreux is putting out to competition this position with the following main tasks: Substitute for the team leader of the sector in case of absences or upon request Execute the landscaping works Ensure medium-scale masonry work and all routine maintenance of public property Ensure the pruning and cutting of trees and shrubs Guarantee the maintenance of planted areas Participate in team management as well as in specific missions Maintain service premises, vehicles, and machines, as well as tools Participate in snow removal and weather damage work Profile: Federal vocational capacity certificate (CFC) in horticulture, landscape gardener option, or deemed equivalent Minimum 3 years of professional experience related to the field Good writing skills for reports and correct spelling Excellent communication and proactive skills Experience in team management, a public service background, solution-oriented with intercultural competencies Mastery of MS Office tools, knowledge of GIS software (or CAD), holder of a phytosanitary products license, machine driver license M1, cherry picker license, forklift license Special conditions: Must be available and flexible with working hours (on-call service or alarms, including Saturdays, Sundays, and nights) Must be able to reach the defined workplace within a maximum of 30 minutes to intervene during alarms Work on weekends and holidays according to the established schedule and needs Hold a driving license for light vehicles and trailers B and BE Maintain good physical condition Special sensitivity to biodiversity Start date: July 1st or to be agreed Any additional information can be obtained from Mr. F.
