We are looking for a highly motivated Materials Engineer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will be developing rewritable paper products based on the hydrochromic technology. With great environmental significance and excellent user experience, the water-based rewritable surface promises to contribute to our HiPaper next-generation display product line at low cost for large areas. YOUR MISSION
* Develop reflective or transparent hydrochromic surfaces with controllable image generation, retention, and erasing.
* Integrate transparent hydrochromic surfaces with our light-addressing display products.
* Collaborate with OEM for mass production of stand-alone reflective products.
* Participate in the hiPaper product development with component optimization and prototype fabrication.
YOUR PROFILE
* Master's degree or above in materials science and engineering, with backgrounds in thin-film coating, polymeric materials, composite materials, etc.
* Extensive experience in the development of thermally curable and UV-curable formulations.
* Proficient in solution-processed deposition of organic and inorganic materials, including in-situ material growth on mesoporous scaffolds, such as sol-gel, hydrothermal, low-temperature sintering, etc.
* Solid knowledge in fundamental materials properties, including the morphology, mechanical properties, optical properties, electrochemical properties, etc., and familiar with their characterizations.
* Strong literature and patent searching ability.
* Spirit of teamwork.
* Product-oriented mindset. Out-of-box way of thinking.
* Proficient level in English.
