Job description
As Senior Avaloq Developer, you will take ownership of designing and enhancing payment workflows within the Avaloq platform. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, efficient integrations and support the continuous evolution of the payment-technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain Avaloq payment functionalities and interfaces
* Integrate external systems (e.g., fraud-screening tools, Finastra payment gateway)
* Customise modules for SIC, SEPA, SWIFT MT/MX, and ISO20022
* Troubleshoot production issues and support operational teams
* Contribute to modernisation efforts (microservices, containerisation)
Expected Profile
You hold a university-level qualification in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field, and you bring several years of current, hands-on experience in Avaloq development with a strong focus on payment-related functionalities. You work analytically, take ownership in complex technical environments and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
