The transporter is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and secure movement of products and materials that support district-wide food service operations. Key responsibilities include:
* Receiving and organizing vendor deliveries.
* Transferring food products into refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas in compliance with food safety standards.
* Transporting food and supplies between district buildings.
* Collecting bank bags from each kitchen, securely executing deposits at the bank, and collecting bank deposit receipts.
* Operating the food service department van to complete required transportation tasks.
* Maintaining daily communication with the Food Service Director and Cooks to ensure operational continuity.
