We are searching for an ASIC CAD development / support engineer to join a strong group of ASIC designers to help in the development of RF ICs to address the LTE and 5G IoT markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support the CAD tool infrastructure at all design sites and assist partners in accessing tools and IP
* Work closely with other design centers within the organization in synchronizing tools, methodology, and design flow
* Provide broad technical expertise in state-of-the-art ASIC design tools
* Assist in installation and maintenance of foundry PDKs
* Working with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best tools for a project and be able to provide local support
* Customization of EDA tools, flow, methodology to provide support to all sites in all countries
* Provide guidance on IT infrastructure to optimize the use and performance of EDA tools

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
* Engineering degree in a relevant discipline. BSc, MSc or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience of relevant IC CAD experience
REQUIRED CAD SKILLS:
* Good working knowledge of most of the RF tools (Cadence based flow)
* Experience with Physical Verification debugging techniques (DRC and LVS)
* Administering FlexLM license servers: license installation, options files
* Administration of Revision control systems (Cliosoft SOS)
* Schematic/layout navigation
* Familiarity with purpose of cdsenv files
* Library creation
* SKILL programming
* Shell scripting
