We’re looking for people who think big, act fearlessly, and create an inclusive environment that drives positive impact to join our team. /p h3What you'll do /h3 ul liOwn the planning and execution of complex, cross‑functional programs from initiation to delivery /li liDefine program scope, objectives, schedules, and success metrics in alignment with business goals /li liCoordinate and drive execution across engineering, product, operations, finance, and other stakeholders /li liManage timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation across multiple projects /li liProactively identify issues, assess impact, and lead mitigation and escalation as needed /li liTrack progress against milestones and KPIs, ensuring transparent and accurate reporting to leadership /li liFacilitate program reviews, decision forums, and stakeholder communications /li liEnsure alignment between program deliverables and strategic priorities /li liDrive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and execution practices /li liSupport change management and ensure successful adoption of program outcomes /li /ul h3The day-to-day /h3 ul liPlanning ul liWork with the team and product owner to provide initial work‑package estimates. /li liBuild up the development schedule based on the product owner’s prioritisation and the team’s capacity. /li liIf needed flag and secure non‑core team resource (specialists or overflow resource to meet the objectives). /li liIdentify risk and opportunities at the individual work‑package level /li liCoordinate, with the team, the refinement of larger work‑packages into executable detailed plans /li /ul /li liExecuting ul liFacilitate the daily team stand‑ups /li liMonitor evolution of risks during the execution /li liMonitor, and if necessary update, the detailed work‑package plan, while ensuring to remain within the agreed scope. /li liHelp the team by eliminating impediments /li liShield the team from outside pressure /li liEnsure resource remains committed and protect the team against over‑committing to other parallel requests /li /ul /li liReporting ul liReport to the product owner on weekly progress /li liPrepare biweekly planning updates, advertising how the short term rolls into the long term. /li /ul /li /ul h3What you'll need /h3 ul li5+ years of project management / scrum master /li li3+ years of technical engineering background /li liDemonstrated experience in leading multi‑disciplinary teams through multiple phases of the product development and service life‑cycle. /li liBachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or similar technical discipline /li liStrong oral and written communications skills /li liUp to 10% travel /li liSwiss Citizenship, EU (27) Citizenship, or Valid Swiss Work Permit /li /ul h3What will help you on the job /h3 ul liFamiliarity with agile and lean development methodologies /li liBackground in antenna systems development or advanced electronic design /li liFamiliarity with JIRA /li /ul h3EEO Statement /h3 pViasat is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, seeking to create a welcoming and diverse environment.
