Job Description Summary
As an ADME Scientist with Biomedical PK Sciences (PKS) organization, you will facilitate the in vitro characterization of the drug-drug interaction (DDI) potential of drug candidates. The anticipation of the drug-drug interaction liabilities during the drug development process is critical in the context of understanding the safety and efficacy profile of the new drug candidate.
The Drug Disposition (DD) group within PKS is seeking a highly qualified multi-disciplinary team-oriented scientist having cell biology experience with emphasis on in vitro enzyme kinetics and ADME assays. In addition, a strong background in bioanalytical methods including LC/MS, radio-chromatography and PCR is desirable. In this role, the ADME scientist will elucidate drug metabolizing enzymes involved in the elimination of new drug candidates, perform enzyme kinetics studies and determine the potential to inhibit or induce drug metabolizing enzymes. The responsibilities include researching new technologies in 3D cell culture models, automation, and bioanalytics to enhance the existing assay portfolio.
